Activities of NPO Taiyo to Midori no Kai
Creating Opportunities for People with Disabilities
Community Workplace and Day Activity Programs
NPO Taiyo to Midori no Kai provides meaningful work opportunities and daytime activity programs for people with disabilities through the operation of a Community Activity Support Center and a Community Cooperative Workshop.
We currently support approximately 20 individuals with various types of disabilities, ranging in age from their 30s to their 60s.
In August 1984, we established Tokushima Prefecture's first independent small-scale community workshop serving people with physical, intellectual, and mental disabilities. Since then, we have continued to create an inclusive environment where people can work, learn, and participate actively in community life.
Promoting Resource Conservation and a Circular Society
1. Reuse and Recycling of Goods and Recyclable Materials
We collect, repair, reuse, and recycle donated items and recyclable materials.

Approximately 500 tons of materials reused or recycled each year
2. Reducing CO₂ Emissions Through Renewable Energy
We actively practice environmentally sustainable living by utilizing solar energy and natural ventilation systems.
